Simple Present:is the tense of this (and no perfective aspect) which denotes habitual action, that is, habits, routines in daily life. It differs from the present perfect in that the latter has perfective aspect, and the present continuous in that the other isprogressive aspect. DOES are used in English to make interrogative sentences in present simple, according to the formula DO / DOES + subject + verb? The difference is that DOES auxiliary is used only if the subject is third person singular, while DO is used in the other cases. For example, consider the following sentences: Do you go to school everyday? (¿Vas a la escuela todos los días?). Does your sister speak French? (¿Habla francés tu hermana?). These auxiliary, followed by the negation NOT (or DO or DOES contracted form) also serve as an essential element of negative sentences in present simple. The structure here is DO NOT / DOES NOT + verb. The distribution of one or other auxiliary conditions follows the same grammatical person indicated above: DOES DOES NOT or for the third person singular or DO NOT DO for all other grammatical persons. Examples are these sentences: I do not watch TV in the morning ((No veo la televisión por la mañana). Does not read comics Helen (Hellen no lee comics) If these aids were used for interrogative sentences are also used in short answers to those questions. Thus, while in Spanish answer with yes or no to these questions, in English there is also the subject and auxiliary in the affirmative or negative.Examples are these sentences: Does he like tennis? Yes, he does (¿Le gusta el tenis? Sí) Does he like football? No, He Does not (¿Le gusta el fútbol?, No) So far the most common of DO and DOES. However, there is another more particular use described below. Specifically, these aids can be used in affirmative declarative sentences when we want to emphasize what is being said, either because it has been questioned or because you want to give more strength to the claim. See the following cases:A: Do you like my idea? B: I DO like your idea, But It Is Impossible.(¿Te gusta mi idea? - Sí que me gusta, pero es imposible) A: I know you do not believe me B: I DO believe you, it's true.(Sé que no me crees – En serio que te creo, es cierto)
